“Nobody will buy this separately”: Resident Evil: Resistance receives mixed reviews from players

After the announcement Resident Evil: Resistance many fans criticized Capcom for developing yet another multiplayer game in the universe Resident evilhowever, later, when it became known that it would be a free addition to the remake of the third part, the conversations subsided.

Capcom recently launched an open beta test of Resistance, and judging by the first reviews, a worthy ideological successor to the dilogy Outbreak from the new project is not working out yet. Steam approval rating is only 52%.

The audience complains about the very long process of finding players, which sometimes can last more than 5 minutes. Another part of the dissatisfied with the game notes a significant imbalance in the gameplay, in particular, pointing to a too strong Tyrant, who can easily destroy the entire squad of survivors.

The disadvantages of the game include too confined spaces along with narrow corridors.

However, there were those players who, despite all the shortcomings, liked the project as a whole and seemed quite viable, subject to a number of changes.

Resident Evil: Resistance beta testing kicked off March 28th and runs through April 3rd.
