Perhaps the most interesting project shown during the May program Inside xbox became the next generation psychological horror The medium. It is developed by a Polish studio Bloober teamgiving fans such interesting projects as Blair witch, Observer and Layers of fear.
Microsoft introduced the game as part of the Xbox 20/20 event, which showed off new games from third-party manufacturers. Some projects, including The Medium, will be released this fall with the release of the Xbox Series X.
In the center of the story is the girl Marianne, who lives in two worlds at once: the material and the world of spirits. Realizing visions of the death of a child, Marianne goes to an abandoned hotel, where a terrible tragedy occurred many years ago.
The game will be released on the Xbox Series X and PC during the Christmas holidays of 2023. The Medium boasts a “double” soundtrack – music for the game is written by Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikovsky.
The Medium will be available on the Xbox Game Pass from the release date.
