The first progamer girl in League of Legends passed away

Streamer and former cybersportswoman League of Legends MariaRemiliaCreveling died at the age of 24. The transgender girl has reached an impressive career and gained fame as the first woman to take part in the League of Legends championship. She passed away in a dream, as reported by her close friend, an e-sports journalist Richard Lewis.

“With great sorrow I inform you that my best friend Maria Creveling died peacefully in a dream yesterday. Her absence will leave a void that will never be filled,” he wrote on Twitter.

The exact cause of the death of the girl was not disclosed. One of Mary’s latest posts on Twitter was: “It’s not like Christmas. It’s just like depression.”

Remilia began her professional career in 2013 as a support player. She continued to compete in the series North american challenger and subsequently joined the Misfits in early 2015. Soon after, the team moved to Reenegades and won the summer playoffs NACS 2015securing a place for next season LCS.

She left Renegades the following year due to health problems. Later, the girl returned to participate in competitions in September 2016 and played for the Latin American team Kaos Latin Gamers by League of Legends.
