Company Riot games announced the accession of new regions to open beta testing League of Legends: Wild Rift… 8 december the game became available in Oceania, Taiwan and Vietnam, and December 10 – in Russia and the CIS, Europe, Turkey, as well as in the Middle East and North Africa.
All players in these regions have full access to Wild Rift at Android and iOS and can now join the League of Legends fan community.
On December 10, as part of a special broadcast, a battle with an in-game creature, the legendary Baron Nashor, took place, to which everyone could join. Players from all over the planet will join forces to defeat an ancient monster from the Abyss that lives on the river in the Wild Gorge and attacks champions with acid.
After defeating the monster, all participants in the open beta will receive a unique emote and icon. The first 25,000 players to enter the stream and defeat the Baron will receive a special reward: they will be given the title of Baron Slayer, and their names will be listed in the end credits. Awards will be awarded in 2023…
In addition, during the Noxian Brothers event, players will be able to complete in-game missions to unlock rewards based on Noxus (Runeterra region) and a comic about the brothers’ relationship.
Finally, with the start of open testing in new regions, the first major Wild Rift update will be available. In game version 1.1. will appear:
- new champions (Wukong and the already mentioned Darius and Draven);
- new cosmetic images;
- translations into 9 languages, including Russian;
- new in-game features – skill cooldown signal and fixed analog stick.

In terms of in-game rewards, regional players joining the Open Test in December will be able to log into Wild Rift using their existing Riot Account and receive them based on their investment in League of Legends on PC.
