The Falcon and the Winter Soldier takes place six months after the End

The authors “Falcon and the Winter Soldier” told that the action of the series takes place six months after “Avengers: Endgame” and explained the choice of this period.

According to the director Kari Skogland, the whole plot is based on the changes and consequences of the click Thanos – in those five years, while the Avengers tried to change this event, the world managed to rebuild significantly. And when the missing half of humanity returned back, everything became much more confusing.

The economy, borders, places of residence of different people have changed, and so on. Apparently, part of the show will just be devoted to how the previously missing are trying to adapt to these changes.

According to the scriptwriter Malcolm Spellman, the choice of this time period made it possible to make the story more relevant, forcing the heroes to deal with mundane and pressing problems, understandable to everyone. A global catastrophe in the style of the one that happened in the world of the MCU can both unite people and divide them – this theme will also be reflected in each episode.

The premiere of the series itself will take place this Friday, March 19.
