The early stage of public testing kicked off late yesterday evening Back 4 blood, which is positioned as a spiritual heir Left 4 dead from the same developer studio – Turtle rock…
The beta is taking place on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC, and on the first weekend either pre-ordered shooter or lucky ones with keys from the publisher or its partners can try it – they were pretty generously distributed on different sites.
As a result, in the first hours of peak online in Steam showed a decent result in 88 thousand people. Now online has dropped to 41 thousand, but closer to the night there should be much more players – during the weekend, they will probably have time to raise the bar more than once.
On the Twitch the results also command respect – at its peak, the cooperative shooter was watched by more than 410 thousand people, and right now it closes the top three in terms of views (100 thousand). Ahead only League of legends (315 thousand) and Apex legends (209 thousand).
The first round of the Back 4 Blood beta will end on August 9, and the fully open test will take place from August 12 to August 18. The full version will be released on October 12th – Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have access to the game for free.
