Publisher Walkabout and developers from the studio Different Tales announced that the visual novel Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 24th.
The authors note that the game can be run in 4K resolution on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X, as well as backward compatibility on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S.
Recall that Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest is an adaptation of the board RPG of the same name set in the World of Darkness universe.
The main character Maya comes to Belovezhskaya Pushcha to explore the dark past of her family and uncover the truth about the last primeval wildlife in Europe.
The decisions of the players often lead to dramatic consequences and affect the characteristics of the character: rage, willpower and health. These, in turn, affect the ability to perform certain actions, as well as the number of choices available and the game world.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest was originally released last October on PC (Steam and GOG), and in January of this year it was released on the Nintendo Switch.
