April 8, Sony revealed a wireless controller Dualense, which will be equipped with the next-generation PlayStation 5 console. Among the features of the device were tactile feedback, adaptive triggers, a USB Type-C port and a built-in microphone. The latter was immediately attacked by some fans.
It turned out that some of these gamers are unhappy with the presence of a built-in microphone in DualSense, because they believe that they are being eavesdropped. Say, non-disconnecting device violates their privacy.
“The array of microphones built into the PS5 controller is a HUGE issue that threatens user privacy,” writes Twitter user Bo Moore. “The responsibility for the fact that voice chat will be turned off by default in games now rests with the developers, otherwise a lot of people will not even think that their controller transmits sound from the living room.”
One user put forward a proposal to introduce the ability to mute the microphone at the iron level.
Or there can be system level options for you to switch on / off the mic

And the other is to throw away your mobile phone, because it also has a built-in microphone.
You may want to throw your cellphone out. I do believe a microphone is built into that as well.
