HBO director filming pilot of The Last of Us TV show

The director of all five episodes “Chernobyl“from HBO Johan Renk confirmed in an interview with the portal Discussing Filmthat will merge again with Craig Mazin to work on the series based on the first part of an adventure action The last of us Naughty Dog Studios. He will act as an executive producer and shoot at least a pilot episode of the show.

“I am an executive producer and attached to the project. The series will be an ongoing, so I can’t be responsible for everything, but I will part of it and direct at least the pilot. And then we’ll see what happens next.”

The television adaptation of “One of Us” will tell about the events of the first game, and the sequel that is being prepared for release will potentially serve as the basis for adding additional plot actions. The Chernobyl showrunner Craig Mazin and the creator of the original The Last of Us, Neil Drackmann, will be executive producers and screenwriters of the show. Adaptation for HBO will be carried out in conjunction with Sony Pictures Television and Playstation productions.

Information on the timing of the start of filming and release date is not yet available. The cast is also unknown.
