Six hours to upgrade: new achievements in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands – review

In the future addition World of Warcraft: Shadowlands we are waiting for a completely redesigned system for pumping characters. Developers promise that now you can reach the maximum level much faster. And the DesMephisto player took on their words.

His first attempt took more than seven hours. The second time it turned out much faster: from 10 to 50 levels, he got in 5 hours 37 minutes. At the same time, he played a druid, not the fastest class. He chose the Kul Tiras race, thanks to which he was able to skip the first ten levels – but this gave a gain of only 20-30 minutes.

Acceleration of pumping became possible after the next update of the alpha version of Shadowlands. It brought the best scaling of the hereditary armor: now it is not inferior in terms of equipment to the usual quest rewards, as before.

However, in the process, DesMephisto encountered a number of alpha problems in the form of bugs and missing quests. In particular, Azerite armor gives too strong bonuses compared to the hereditary one, so the player had to change clothes before each quest for the experience bonus.

The developers have already reported that the pumping process in the alpha version does not quite match what will be on the release. But in the current version, about four hours only takes a path from 110 to 120 levels, so the acceleration will still be significant.

DesMephisto is known among fans of World of Warcraft not only for this record. He has been diagnosed with autism, and the game helps him in socialization. DesMephisto loves the warrior class: he has 49 warriors of the highest level.
