It turns out that scammers have been contacting random players lately in an attempt to trick them into accessing the Cyberpunk 2077 beta.
According to CD Projekt RED itself, it did not send such messages – it is very easy to trace, since letters of this kind would come only from the studio’s address, that is, “@ cdprojektred.com”, and nothing else.
The scam announcement applies to both regular players and bloggers.
If you are contacted by a third-party person who claims to work with us (an agency, for example), you immediately admit that this person is lying.
Cyberpunk 2077 is out November 17 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game will also launch on next-gen consoles thanks to backward compatibility.
