Channel Author The gaming revolution reports that exit Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered could not have taken place if not for Sony. The company entered into an agreement with Activision and even funded the development of the game, as a result of which the latter became a monthly exclusive Ps4.
In his video, the author noted that the contract of Activision and Sony also implies the release of a remaster Modern warfare 3. Despite the fact that the publisher has not yet made any statements on this subject, the insider is confident that there will be no multiplayer component in the game and re-release of the single player campaign is waiting for gamers again.
The information received is consistent with recent words from a site employee CharlieIntel, who also heard about the agreement between Sony and Activision. It entered into force in 2015 and since then all rights to marketing, promotion of Call of Duty as an e-sports discipline and much more are on the side of Sony.
Activision announced and released Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered on March 31, 2023 exclusively on PS4. The release for the Xbox One and PC is scheduled for April 30th.
