Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerrilla games released a new video about the recently announced role-playing action Horizon: Forbidden West for Playstation 5in which project development manager Matthews de Jong shared new details and announced the game’s release window.

- The Forbidden West subtitle actually refers to a new, unexplored frontier, stretching from Utah in the United States to the Pacific Ocean in the West. The power of the PlayStation 5 will make this world even more detailed, vibrant and exciting, and thanks to the SSD in the game there will be practically no loading screens. Fast moving from one point of the map to another and restarting from the control point will become very fast.
- The developers did not make the world much more, focusing mainly on the depth of its development. Thanks to this, the game will have the opportunity to explore the underwater space of rivers and lakes, plus what gamers will discover for themselves dozens of new cars, like Shell Snappers, which guard the shores and swamps, Snapmaws, which hunt on waterways, and Sunwings, which patrol the sky. Each of them, as in the first part, can be scanned to find out the strengths and weaknesses.
- The Forbidden West is also home to new tribes, some of which are peaceful and others hostile. One of these tribes learned to reconfigure vehicles and use them as their combat units during battles.
- The mammoth-like Tremor Tusk is one of the largest machines. He is equipped with weapons and heavily armored protection, which can already cause a lot of problems when meeting him in the wild, but when he is under the control of the tribes, it becomes even more dangerous.
- An even more serious problem of the Forbidden West lies in the destruction of the biosphere. A certain red infection began to spread across the lands, destroying all nature, and the weather that got out of control was the result of the formation of stormy supercells, flooding entire canyons and fields.
