Frontier developers announced that the simulator run Planet zoo, which was released in November 2019, exceeded a million copies in less than six months. It is noted that this is the largest PC release of the company.
At the same time, sales of other Frontier Developments games also exceeded significant marks this year.
- Planet coaster – 2.5 million copies in January.
- Jurassic world evolution – 3 million copies in March.
- Elite dangerous – 3.5 million copies in April.
Frontier Developments notes that sales of all four games and paid DLCs to them contributed to a significant increase in revenue in the current financial year, which will end for the company on May 31, 2023.
Earlier we said that Frontier Developments got rights from Games workshop to develop and publish real-time strategy in the universe Warhammer age of sigmar. The release is scheduled for fiscal year 2023, and the rights will allow the release of the game on PC, consoles and streaming platforms.
