Moscow based studio Alter games presented on the occasion of Victory Day a new tactical strategy gameplay trailer in real time Partisans 1941, dedicated to the activities of Soviet partisans during the Second World War.
In the game from the domestic studio, gamers are invited to form and lead a partisan detachment of Soviet fighters and local residents who were in the German rear, having gone from them from minor sabotage to missions to eliminate the local occupation authorities. The developers promise to show the war from a new, little studied side. At the same time, the game is not a historical simulator, but offers an author’s look at the events of those times.
The project combines stealth, combat, resource management and construction elements of the base. Players can accept new fighters into the squad and decide independently which of the partisans to take with them on a mission, based on their unique skills and abilities. There is a moral choice: it’s up to you to help civilians and give out your position, or to pass by and go unnoticed.
Partisans 1941 should start on pc in Steam this summer. Now Alter games accepts applications for participation in closed beta testing.
