“Pacific Rim” becomes anime: Netflix shows first footage

After two full films “Pacific Rim“will acquire an anime series for streaming service Netflix… The project was named Pacific Rim: The Black

Below are the first footage posted by the streaming service on Twitter.

On the first, we see the brother and sister mentioned in the synopsis, controlling the giant fur Jaeger, while the second shows a huge frightening Kaiju, which must be stopped at any cost.

“Long ago, the people defeated Kaiju. They are now being evacuated from Australia. Join your brother and sister with their beaten and long-abandoned Jaeger during a battle on a continent full of danger,” the description reads.

Pacific Rim: The Black has been in production since 2018. Legendary Entertainment, which produced the original “Pacific Rim” and its sequel, will return to work on the animated series. Craig Kyle and Greg Johnson will act as showrunners and Polygon Pictures will be responsible for animation.
