Dark Horse will release a comic strip in the original scenario of “Predator” – review

Publishing house Dark horse will release a comic strip based on an unused script to “Predator” 1987 year.
This is not the first time that Dark Horse has taken to bring to mind unfinished scripts in the form of comics. They did the same with the original “Alien” and work William Gibson on the Alien 3.

The Predator series will consist of five issues. It was based on the 1984 script by James and John Thomas, who was then called The Hunters. The scriptwriter is responsible for the adaptation Jeremy Barlow (“Alien vs. Predator: Thicker Than Blood”) and artist Patrick Blaine (Star Wars: Empire).

The plot largely overlaps with the final version of the picture: a group of military experts goes on a rescue mission, gradually revealing traces of deception and lies. And all this time, someone is watching them, and then opens a real hunt.

The design of the monster itself will be different from the version familiar to everyone created during the work on the film. The first issue of the comic will go on sale on June 10.
