Noir Mode & UI Customization: 2K Games Releases First Update For Mafia: Definitive Edition

Company 2K Games and development studio Hangar 13 released the first update for the gangster action movie remake Mafia: Definitive Edition… Already available for download on all platforms, the update fixes some bugs and adds a number of useful features to the game.

One of the main innovations of the patch is the advanced configuration of the interface, which allows you to customize it at your discretion. Among the options to be disabled, there are indicators of the main tasks, marks of enemies (at all levels of difficulty), step-by-step hints and display of routes. Hardcore players can now choose the most lightweight UI, where the speedometer, mini-map and mission descriptions are missing

The second important part of the update was the “Noir“, thanks to which the game can now be played in a vintage black and white style. After activating the corresponding option, the picture of” Mafia “becomes similar to the classic gangster films of the 30s.

The authors also added to the “stroll“several new gameplay features that will appear depending on the chosen vehicle and direction. What exactly is at stake, the developers do not say, leaving it a surprise for the players
