Company Electronic Arts announced that today the remaster Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit will receive a new free update.
The update will add a wrapper editor on all platforms, as well as, most importantly, will improve the game on past generation pro consoles and current generation consoles…
After installing the patch, the updated Hot Pursuit will receive the mode 4K / 60 FPS on Playstation 5 and Xbox series x and 4K / 50+ FPS on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox one x… Until then, the unlocked frame rate was only available when playing at 1080p.
As for the skinny editor, it will be very familiar to those who have played Need for Speed: Heat… With its help, players can create their own unique car design or choose from ready-made options. Also in the update, the developers have fixed various minor bugs, a list of which can be found here.
