The association of a number of gaming European companies announced plans to hold a new event called Europlay Games Contest. The show, according to the organizers, is “Eurovision Games“. It will take place August 28 as part of a digital conference Gamescom 2023.
Now the list of participating countries is as follows: Great Britain, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Poland, Australia, Latvia and Belgium. At the same time, the selection is likely to be expanded in the coming weeks.
According to the plan, the games participating in the competition will be demonstrated on the platform Twitch. The primary list of winners will be chosen by the organizers and participants, and final vote will be held in Twitter, where anyone can vote for their favorite projects.
Various industry figures, including representatives of the press and various gaming publishers, will also be able to speak at the event, who will be able to talk and talk in more detail about the participants’ developments.
