Xbox CEO Phil Spencer attacks Sony

At a media briefing earlier this week, chapter Xbox Phil Spencer veiled walked through Sony, criticizing the strategy Playstation for the release of games on PC

The fact is that the approach of the Japanese company in this regard is strikingly different from Microsoft. While games from Xbox Game Studios are released simultaneously on Xbox and PC, immediately falling into the Game Pass subscription, Sony’s policy is to give its exclusives to computers not immediately, but after a while, and only at full price.

“We’re the only platform with games coming out simultaneously on PC, consoles and in the cloud. Others release console games on PC a few years after release, not only forcing them to buy their hardware in advance, but also re-charging money to play on PC.”

Although Spencer did not mention Sony directly, it is clear that they were talking about it. After the PlayStation was no longer the only platform for Sony exclusives, out of the big three, only Nintendo has yet to release its games on the PC.

Sony recently confirmed that it will continue to release console exclusives on personal computers. The company still considers PlayStation to be the best place to play its games, but it sees importance in the PC audience and plans to continue publishing certain titles on the platform.

According to rumors, the next port will be Uncharted 4, which appeared in one of the latest reports of the company.
