Despite hopes and numerous attempts, no sequel to Jet Set Radio followed. And, according to lead designer Kazuki Hosokawa, because of the fact that such a project needs to be worked on by a young team who can put all the passion into the game.
It is possible that Team Reptile and its future Bomb Rush Cyberfunk fit this description. In it, we will have similar entertainment: to the funky music, wander, fly, soar and roll around the areas of the futuristic metropolis, dance, fight the police, communicate with eccentrics and paint graffiti, trying to make it as high as possible.
So far, only a single playthrough is planned for the game, and it will not be released until 2023.
