I just spoke to @ Okami13_, and according to him, Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered is releasing next Monday on the 30th of March!

Yesterday, the cover of the game leaked to the network, confirming rumors about the presence in the remaster of only a storyline campaign. Moreover, according to TheGamingRevolution, Activision does not plan to stop at MW2 and is already working on an updated version of the final part of the trilogy Modern warfare.
MW3 Remastered has been getting worked on for a while now too so I wonder how / when that’s going to drop

Original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 went to Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC in November 2011. Now the shooter is available under the backward compatibility program on Xbox one.
