Despite the fact that according to the scenario the hero is called “David”, the character of the character and the scene itself hint that McTavish is playing Sigismund Dijkstra – spy and head of Redan intelligence.
In the scene itself, he talks to “King Vizimir”: they are discussing a certain prisoner escape in the East, as well as the fact that the “David” does not look like a spy at all.
Most likely, as in the case of other auditions, this scene was written specifically for samples and is unlikely to appear in the second season of “The Witcher” from Netflix. In addition, the actors themselves sometimes lay out samples due to the fact that they did not get the role.
But it’s interesting that they tried to remove this video from the Internet with great speed, perhaps because Dijkstra really appears in the second season of the series, regardless of whether or not McTavish plays it.
The actor himself, by the way, is not far from the world of games – he voiced Zoran Lazarevich in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Charlie Cutter in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
