IGN Summer Gaming Starts Postponed to June 10 – review

Late May Edition IGN published the schedule of its festival “Summer of gaming”, which will become a kind of replacement E3 2023. Initially, the event was supposed to begin on June 5, but earlier this week the start was postponed to June 8.
Now IGN decided to postpone the start of the Summer of Gaming even further – on June 10th. The publication notes that in this way they want to give their employees and viewers the opportunity to honor the funeral of George Floyd, a black man who was killed by police during his detention.
The death of George Floyd caused massive protests in the United States, which led to the postponement of many gaming events, including those that were organized by partners of Summer Gaming. PC gaming show and the beginning Guerrilla collective moved to June 13, EA Play – on June 19, and the presentation Cyberpunk 2077 – on June 25th.
