Time to pay tribute to George Floyd: IGN Summer of Gaming festival rescheduled

However, on this day, “Summer of Gaming” will also not take place – the organizers will postpone the event for the second time.

Now Summer of Gaming is planning to start on Wednesday, June 10th. Broadcasts IGN Expo with announcements, trailers, gameplay and interviews will be held on June 10, 11, 12 and 15. The decision to push the event a little further was made in order to give IGN employees and spectators the opportunity to honor Floyd’s funeral.

“Earlier this week, we announced that Summer of Gaming will kick off on June 8th, but to allow IGN staff and viewers to honor George Floyd’s funeral, we decided to push the event a little further.”

In addition to “Summer Gaming”, other upcoming gaming events of this month, including presentations, were postponed. Madden NFL 21 and World of Wacraft: Shadowlands, PC Gaming Show 2023, Future games show, Guerrilla collective, Upload VR Showcase, EA Play Live 2023 and Night city wire with showing Cyberpunk 2077. Due to protest unrest for an indefinite period, the show also moved Playstation 5, which was supposed to take place on the 4th.
