Coronavirus continues to make adjustments to public events. This time it touched on the annual international exhibition of consumer electronics Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA), which takes place in Berlin.
This event has been held in September since 1924. From 1940 to 1949, the exhibition did not take place because of the war, but then it was resumed. Now it has been canceled due to a pandemic.
On the official page of the organizers on Twitter it says that for the IFA 2023 will present an updated concept. This is probably an online format, although there is no exact data yet. It remains to wait for September.
# IFA20: Set for an innovative concept designed for unprecedented times.
IFA Berlin is set to go ahead in 2023, but with an innovative new concept, following the decision by the Berlin government to ban all events with more than 5,000 participants until October 24, 2023.
