The popular Humble Bundle digital store has become even more attractive for players from Russia, as the service decided to introduce a special low price in rubles.
An announcement about the introduction of regional prices has appeared on the blog of the Humble Bundle digital store, Gamebomb.ru reports. To stimulate sales of games in their service, its creators decided to set special prices for some regions in local currency. Now you can buy games in the Humble Store with a special price tag for Russian rubles. The following currencies will also be supported: Philippine Pesos, Turkish Lira, New Zealand Dollar, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Pound Sterling and Euro.
However, the changes will affect only all new sets of games (Humble Bundle), Gamebomb.ru reports. Existing collections will save the price in US dollars. In some regions, the price has already changed for the Humble Choice subscription. Depending on the tariff, it allows players to pick up from 3 to 9 games from the proposed list every month for free in their collection. In the future, special regional prices will appear for other store projects. Perhaps this will affect the popular service Humble Monthly, in which players receive about 8-10 PC games for free every month.
The Humble Bundle store came about with the pay-as-you-go concept. The creators of the service offered players collections of games with an unknown price. Each user himself decided how much he wants to give developers – from one dollar to tens of thousands. Later, other selections appeared in the service, as well as free giveaways.
