A couple of days ago, Polish producer Stan Just announced his studio’s debut game Covenant.dev… And now Gord officially presented with an announcement trailer and a page in Steam…
In Gord, we have to found and lead a colony in very gloomy conditions. The Tribe of Dawn is trying to survive in the wilds of the forbidden lands of a fantasy world based on Slavic folklore.
In this adventure strategy, we have to do more than just gather resources and develop a settlement. Our colonists are waiting for a meeting with terrible mythical monsters, enemy tribes and the mystical secrets of these lands. In doing so, a balance must be struck between the sanity of the settlers and the burden they bear.
In addition to the main story campaign, players will experience side missions, random encounters, and procedurally generated test scenarios. And looking for the pages of the Chronicle, we can learn about the history and secrets of the world of forbidden lands.
Gord is due out in 2023 on PC and next-gen consoles. It will probably appear in Early Access at the beginning, but the plans of the developers may change.
