For the final DLC Re: Mind, Kingdom Hearts 3 used the Final Fantasy XV trailer – review

The add-on was released Re: Mind to role play Kingdom Hearts 3. And the players who completed the passage of her script noticed a strange thing. The final DLC video turned out to be very similar to fragments of the trailer for another Tetsui Nomura game.

Square Enix released a spin-off trailer in 2011 Final Fantasy Versus XIII. In it, Prince Noctis in a car with a driver drives up to the entrance to the city. The game never came out after spending several years in pre-production hell. But her achievements became the basis Final Fantasy XV.

Finale Re: Mind almost accurately reproduces some frames from the beginning of the trailer. Is that Noctis’s place in it was taken by Jozora, the hero of a fictional series of games Verum rex. And in the final clip his words sound: “Recently, I have had strange thoughts: is this really all or not? I don’t see the point in anything“.

As you know, Tetsuya Nomura worked on Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. And the fact that Jozora took the place of Noctis may not have a deeper meaning. It just became a pity to throw away old practices.
