Fired: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Creative Director Ashraf Ismail Lost His Job At Ubisoft

This June, the creative director of the historical action movie Assassin’s creed valhalla Ashraf Ismail left his post against the backdrop of a major scandal. He was publicly accused of cheating on his wife. The developer’s mistress said that he deceived her, claiming that he was free, and posted personal correspondence on the network.

Without going into details then a veteran Ubisoft and the series Assassin’s creed wrote that “now his life is broken“. Today, representatives of the French publishing house made a public statement, where they specified that more Ashraf Ismail in company will not work. The management came to this decision after a lengthy internal investigation.

“As a result of a lengthy investigation by a third party company, we have come to the conclusion that the relationship between Ashraf and Ubisoft will no longer continue.

We do not plan to disclose any more information about this confidential case, “- said in a statement sent to the developers of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla from senior management.

Probably, the company considered that Ismail’s story could spoil its already damaged image.

Ubisoft has recently been hit by a massive wave of harassment allegations. After a series of serious proceedings, the publishing house left Serge Hascoet, formerly holding a senior management position. This entailed large-scale restructuring processes within the French publishing house, the results of which the public has yet to evaluate in the future.
