As it became known to Gamebomb.ru, fans found the first hints of the Crysis 4 game or the complete remaster of the first Crysis game in a previously released technical video on the Crytek CryEngine engine. Now, Crytek studio lighting designer Lars Hofrichter has posted new shots on the latest version of the engine, which may relate to some kind of Crysis franchise project. On frames, the artist showed locations with the jungle, which were the setting of the Crysis game, but on the new frames, the graphics look much more impressive than in the Crytek project. Fans suggested that a new demonstration of the features of the engine may turn out to be something more, and hint at a future announcement of Crysis 4 or re-release of the released games in the series with advanced graphics.

While Crytek has not announced anything specific on the Crysis franchise, moreover, all rights to the franchise belong to Electronic Arts. Despite periodic rumors about the possible existence of the Crysis 4 game, until now the companies have not officially confirmed anything, and therefore fans of the series can only wait for news about the future series.

The last game in the Crysis 3 series was released back in 2013, Gamebomb.ru reports. Each game in the series immediately after the release became a real benchmark for PC graphics for several years to come. The most revolutionary was the first Crysis shooter, which at the time of its release in 2007 did not run at maximum settings on almost any gaming PC, and impresses with its picture even 13 years after the release.
