Crunchyroll service awards the best anime of 2019 – review

Prizes awarded in San Francisco Anime Awards 2023based internet service Crunchyroll. The winners were determined by universal suffrage, and this time more than 11 million spectators took part in it.

The most rewards collected anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (“The Blade Cutting the Demons”). It became the best anime of the year and the best fighting game, and his hero Tanziro Kamado was named the best boy.

Three awards also received a romantic comedy. Kaguya-sama: love is war, she was recognized as the best comedy with the best ending. In addition, it was in her that the best couple of the year was found.

  • Best protagonist – Sanku (“Dr. Stone”);
  • Best antagonist – Isabella (“Promised Neverland”);
  • Best fighting game – Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba;
  • Best couple – Kaguya Sinomiya and Miyuki Sirogane (Kaguya-sama: Love is War);
  • Best comedy – Kaguya-sama: Love is War;
  • Best drama – Vinland Saga;
  • The best fantasy world – “Promised Neverland”;
  • Best opening – 99.9 (Mob Psycho 100 II);
  • Best ending – Chikatto Chika Chikaa (Kaguya-sama: Love is War);
  • Best dubbing actor (in English) – Billy Kamets in the role of Ivatani Naofumi (Ascent of the Shield Hero);
  • Best Seiyu (in Japanese) – Yuiti Nakamura in the role of Bruno Buccarati (“The Incredible Adventures of JoJo”).
