Publisher Daedalic Entertainment and the developers from Mimimi Productions announced a standalone add-on Aiko’s Choice for stealth tactics Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun…
As the name suggests, the main character of the DLC is the kunoichi Aiko, a master of disguise who can distract enemies by disguising herself as a geisha.
Aiko was sure that she had left the past behind, however, everything changed when she had a new enemy associated with her past life. Together with a squad of her best assassins, Aiko went on a hunt for the ghosts of the past.
The add-on includes three full-fledged main missions in completely new locations and three shorter intermediate missions. As in the main game, players will again have to take control of “a squad of dangerous assassins and sneak in the shadows past dozens of unsuspecting enemies.”
Although Aiko’s Choice does not require a copy of Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun to play, the authors recommend completing at least a few of the original game’s first missions to familiarize yourself with the mechanics, characters, and storyline.
Aiko’s Choice will be out later this year. Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Steam, EGS).
