Crysis battle royale and sequel Ryse: Son of Rome – Crytek plans leaked online

Last week, there was a large-scale leak of internal documents and files of a German company Crytek, thanks to which netizens have the opportunity to look behind the scenes at famous developers and learn about their plans.

A number of projects were mentioned in the files.:

  • Crysis Next is a shareware high-quality battle royale game designed for 100 people and using all the gameplay mechanics and features inherent in the previous parts of the franchise.
  • Crysis VR is a VR project in the Crysis universe.
  • Hunt mobile – presumably a conversion of a multiplayer shooter with horror elements Hunt: Showdown.
  • Robinson 2 is the sequel to the VR adventure Robinson, released in 2016.
  • Ryse next – based on the name, most likely, we are talking about a full-fledged continuation of the historical action Ryse: Son of Rome, which went on sale in 2013 as a project from the launch line Xbox one

In addition, the leak also mentions production plans to reissue the entire trilogy. Crysis

It seems that originally the developers from Crytek planned an exit Crysis remastered back at the beginning of this year, an updated version was supposed to go on sale Crysis 2, and then, in 2023, the line would be completed by a remaster Crysis 3. Later, the improved trilogy was going to be sold as a single kit.

It is important to understand that even if the entire leak is really absolutely reliable, over the past months, plans Crytek could have changed significantly – it is possible that the games mentioned above are not in active development, or, as in the case of the remasters of the Crysis trilogy, major adjustments could have been made to their production cycles.

The representatives themselves Crytek to date, the leak has not been commented on.
