We previously reported that AMD Already on June 16 it will immediately show three new processors of the line Matisse refresh. The processors are reported to receive an increase in frequencies of 200-300 MHz compared to current models. This will give an expected performance increase of 5-15%. In numbers, it looks like this:
AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT will operate at a frequency of 4.1 to 4.8 GHz;
Ryzen 7 3800 XT – from 4.2 to 4.7 GHz;
Ryzen 5 3600 XT – from 4.0 to 4.7 GHz.
Otherwise, there will be no differences from existing models. Prices also will not change, that is, for the same money you can get a performance boost.
It is also noted that the processors will work on current boards with an AM4 socket with the latest UEFI firmware. Board manufacturers will obviously release release updates.
