A ray of goodness in these difficult times: Sony unexpectedly gave a surprise to a family of PlayStation fans

Company Sony Interactive Entertainment gave the console Playstation 4 family of miner Arnav Tanwar from India after receiving a letter from his 15-year-old daughter Abhilashi. The girl said that her father, inspired by his son’s success at school, spent the whole year saving money to buy a set-top box and wanted to give it to him for his birthday on December 25, but was beaten and robbed by intruders when he returned home with a purchase. The incident took place in the Dhavari region, which is considered one of the poorest in India. The history was written by The Indian Express.

As a result of the attack, Abhilasha explained, the father suffered a concussion and was temporarily suspended from work. The 16-year-old son was left without a birthday present, and instead of a joyful event in the form of the PlayStation 4 at home, the family plunged into despair. She has no extra funds to buy the system.

In her message to Sony, Abhilasha asked the company to make a gift to the family, calling her brother a big fan of the PlayStation, who had lost for about ten years. Playstation 2, and the local platform office responded by sending her not only a PlayStation 4, but ten games for free. This was a real pleasant surprise for the family.

“I spent half my life playing games on the PlayStation. I’m glad I was not mistaken in choosing Sony,” Arnav shared his impressions.

In the comments, some users criticized Sony, noting that it should have given the family immediately Playstation 5… Others rightly noted that the new generation system has not yet been launched in India.
