Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition ported to Nightdive Studios own engine Kex, which was used to create Turok and System Shock remasters. The game will offer updated models of characters and animations, improved videos, support for widescreen resolution and the ability to change the layout of the keyboard and gamepad. No screenshots or videos of the updated version were presented.
The original project was developed by forces Westwood studios and tells the story of Detective Ray McCoy tracking down replicants. The non-linear story of the game unfolds simultaneously with the 1982 Ridley Scott film, allowing you to visit locations and meet the characters that are represented in the original picture. Actors Sean Young, James Hong, Joe Turkel, Brion James and William Sanderson reiterated their roles from the film in the game.
Currently, gamers are available to reissue the original Blade Runner in the GOG.com store for Linux, Mac and Windows PC. It came out in December.
