Focus Home Interactive Announced Gold Edition Fantasy RPG Last Week GreedFall from the French studio Spiders.
The new version will be released on all platforms and will include The De Vespe Conspiracy story expansion. In addition to this on consoles Xbox Series X | S and Playstation 5 the project will offer support for 4K resolution, improved graphics, faster downloads and a performance mode of 60 FPS.
With the exception of the expansion, all technical improvements will be available for free to owners of the regular GreedFall for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but one not very pleasant moment has emerged. It’s about the upgrade limitation.
As it turned out, the possibility of updating not provided for those who received GreedFall by subscription PS Plus… Previously, it was the same with Final Fantasy VII Remake. Plus copies of the remake could not be upgraded to the PS5 version, although the game itself offers such an option.
At the same time, the developers confirmed that the owners of the Xbox Series who downloaded GreedFall through Game passwill not be deprived of the update and will be able to play the improved version while the subscription is valid.
