An inadvertently published announcement about the imminent start of the add-on Burning crusade classic to the vanilla version World of warcraft turned out to be true. Blizzard announced officially: the release of the add-on is scheduled for June 2, 01:00 Moscow time.
Prior to that, the World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic preview patch kicks off on May 18. Players will have to choose for each character, whether he will go to the portal leading to Outland to battle the Burning Legion, or continue his adventures in the classic era.
Characters from players who did not make their choice during the pre-patch will be automatically activated in Burning Crusade Classic.
Those who find it difficult to choose a fate for their favorite character can buy a special service in the game store. In this case, both copies of the hero will be activated, and it will be possible to play him simultaneously in the new world and in the classic version.
