Disney remakes popular attraction due to its racist overtones

Disney responded to the numerous requests of visitors to their parks, deciding to remake the attraction “Mountain of spray”, based on infamous cartoon “Song of the South.”
The original work has been criticized for years for the incorrect image of African Americans, racism, the maintenance of the image of slavery, and so on. Earlier Bob eiger stated that the project will never be released on Disney +.

The plot of the “Song” tells the story of a boy Johnny, who visits his grandmother’s plantation after the end of the Civil War in the United States. There, he communicates with employee Uncle Remus, who tells him various stories.

As visitors asked, the attraction will be remade under the theme of the cartoon “Princess and the Frog”, whose main character was a dark-skinned heroine.
