In an interview PCGamesN senior producer Diablo II: Resurrected Chris Lena said that not all old modifications will work with the remake. We are talking about modifications that injected their code directly into the game. Their support had to be ruled out.
Other data-only mods will still work with Diablo II: Resurrected. In addition, creating new modifications of this kind will be easier, as more data will be available to enthusiasts.
Diablo II: Resurrected will be released before the end of the year on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The game can already be pre-ordered in Battle.net for 1999 rubles.
