Obsidian will add in Grounded mode for arachnophobia

Grounded off Obsidian essentially represents a playful interpretation of the picture “Honey I have reduced children”, In which suddenly declining teens were forced to fight insects. Once in a world full of adventure and bizarre miracles, they explored the backyard, collected dew and built a house of grass blades.

In Grounded, players will also meet with ants, ladybugs and huge spiders. It is not known how many more hidden fears the Obsidian project will open in people, but the very thought of meeting these terrible creatures loitering around causes horror for some players.

In order not to scare away particularly impressionable users and expand their audience in every way, developers are striving to include flexible content customization in Grounded.

Obsidian announced today on Twitter that the team will introduce a special mode for arachnophobes, prepared for those who don’t like spiders and just want to enjoy the game.

The developers do not yet know in what form the enemies will appear and how exactly this mode will work, but they promise to share the details in the very near future.

Recently, the creators of Satisfactory found themselves in a similar situation. True, in the game Coffee Stains Studio, the mode for arachnophobes appeared completely by accident, when one of the developers, who did not like spiders, replaced them with photographs of cats.

Grounded will be released early on the Xbox One and PC on June 28, 2023.
