Park left a post on Instagram from the dressing room, where you can see the familiar “horns” of Maul, and Tatooine was marked as the location. Moreover, the post itself was accompanied by a signature “Meet me on Dathomir”, that is, the character’s home planet. How Dathomir will appear in the plot is not clear.
Most likely, the villain will appear in some way in the TV series about Obi-Wan Kenobiwith whom he had a long history of enmity in the universe. True, Maul’s life ended in a duel with the same Kenobi in “Rebels”…
Therefore, perhaps we are talking about some flashbacks – or the events will unfold before the ending of the animated series. In animation projects, by the way, Mola voices Sam Whitver, who also played the protagonist in Days gone…
The series is expected to premiere in 2023.
