Journalist of the publication Bloomberg and former editor of the portal Kotaku Jason Schreier shared with readers in his New Year’s note his own rating of the best games of the outgoing 2023.
The investigative columnist noted that in 2023, despite the pandemic, the gaming industry was booming. Yes, the creation of games was complicated by remote work from home, but sales rose sharply, and the year itself gave gamers many interesting releases. According to Schreier, his TOP-10 includes projects that have managed to stand out from their many competitors.
Interestingly, Schreier’s top did not include such popular and beloved games as The Last of Us Part II, Cyberpunk 2077 and Animal Crossing: New Horizons… Answering fans’ questions, he only commented on the lack of a sequel to The Last of Us – it disappointed him… It should be noted that over the past year he wrote a lot about reworking in studios. Naughty dog and CD Projekt RED and even openly entered into disputes with developers.
