Sales of a gloomy adventure game A plague tale: innocence from the french team Asobo studio exceeded the symbolic mark in 1,000,000 copies. The developers announced this today from their page on the social network Twitter.
“We want to thank all of you for supporting the game and the studio. We would not be able to achieve such a result without our community!”, The message said.
It took the adventure more than twelve months to achieve a significant result. Its premiere on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC took place in May 2019. In October, the game was recognized as a successful publishing house by Focus Home Interactive, and in early December rumors about creating a sequel.
A Plague Tale: Innocence tells the story of the journey of a young girl, Amicia and her younger brother Hugo, who are being pursued by soldiers of the Inquisition in France suffering from the Edwardian war of 1348-1349. Events unfold against the backdrop of a terrible plague epidemic, when cities and villages were flooded with hordes of ferocious rats.
The editors of GameMAG.ru praised the game, calling it the main discovery of the year at the time of release.
