The computer version of the psychological thriller Twin mirror from authors Life is Strange became a temporary exclusive Epic Games Store. About this developers from the French studio Dontnod Entertainment announced at a presentation last night PC Gaming Show 2023, where a new story teaser was also presented.
Agreement with Epic games allowed Dontnod to act as an independent publisher of the project on the PC and expand its development in order to maximize the realization of all creative intent. Along with this, the team completely revised the distribution model – originally conceived as an episodic title, now Twin Mirror immediately released as a full game.

The plot of Twin Mirror is a former investigative journalist Sam Higgs, who returned to his hometown of Basswood in West Virginia to say goodbye to his dead friend. Everything changes when Sam wakes up and discovers a bloodied shirt, but what really happened, he does not remember. Determined to get to the bottom of the truth, the main character will explore the town, meet with local residents, ask them questions and collect tips. He will be helped in all this by the “Double” – more liberated version of Sam, who lives in the halls of his mind.

The premiere of the game will take place later this year at Playstation 4, Xbox one and PC (Epic Games Store). AT Steam and other digital services Twin Mirror will not be available for purchase until 2023.
