HBO unveils debut trailer for its new horror series “Lovecraft Country“. The project’s showrunner is Misha Green (“Spiral”, “Underground”), and executive producers – Jordan Peel (“Off”, “We”) and JJ Abrams.
Lovecraft Land will tell about the 22-year-old Korean war veteran Atticus, who, along with a childhood friend and uncle, goes on a trip to the United States in search of his father. Along the way, he will meet not only with racists, but also with real monsters.
The series is a film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Matt Ruff in the genre of dark fantasy and horror, published in February 2016.
