PlatinumGames dated next high-profile announcement, Bayonetta 3 development progressing as planned

In early February, the Japanese studio Platinum games launched the site Platinum 4dedicated to her new projects, where so far only a remaster managed to reveal The Wonderful 101. Today it became known that the next high-profile announcement will take place in the latest issue of the magazine Weekly famitsu, which goes on sale February 27, 2023. At the same time, information from the article may appear on the network on February 24-25 – usually Famitsu releases leak into the network before the official release.

Apparently, Platinum 4 is only a self-published PlatinumGames game. Therefore, news, for example, about the possible continuation of Nier or Bayonetta 3 within the framework of the disclosure of this line should not be expected – the studio partners in the person will be responsible for their distribution Square enix and Nintendo respectively.

Famitsu’s editors asked Camia how things were going with Bayonetta 3 for the Nintendo Switch, and he once again assured that production was progressing without problems – according to plan. According to the developer, in the debut teaser, published at the end of 2017, “interesting information about the continuation of the series is hidden.”

The collection that appeared today in Western markets Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be released in Japan only on May 28.
