In a commentary for IGN, concept author Dan Cool explained that he drew inspiration from leaked photos of the devkit, while trying to make the appearance of the device more enjoyable for the end user. The most difficult part of the model, according to Kul, was the ports on the rear panel, since they should have looked as realistic as possible.
He also noted that he does not consider himself an experienced 3D-modeler – the author mainly works only with the Dreams editor, where most of his projects have been done. You can get acquainted with the concept directly in the game itself, having found it in Dreamiverse under the name “PS5 Console Concept”.
According to rumors, a full presentation of the PlayStation 5 will be held in February.
